The Favorite Gift

I found this little beauty in a catalog and just couldn't resist.

He doesn't even realize that he can spell his name!

He even knows all the names of the letters!

He can carry the stool around the house all by himself!

And if you look careful you can see him standing on it while he brushes his teeth!

Thank you for all your kind wishes about Coops Daycare. Hopefully we have found a place that will hold us through the end of the School Year.

Introspection Cont......

I interviewed for this job when Coop was 4 weeks old, and they offered it the next day.
At first I was excited............Then I cried for 24 hours straight.

He was so little, and he needed me.
I was blessed to have an amazing administration and be so close to Coop at his daycare.
It has been a huge blessing having him so close.

Yesterday after work, I was informed my daycare will be closing on Wednesday, Thats right they gave me less then 4 days to find someone.....................So the crying has started again, along with a permanently upset stomach, and headache.

I am scared................to make a bad decision, that I have already made a bad decision, and I can't breathe...............
Please pray for us

One size fits ALL?

This is our new Favorite Family hangout Spot!!

Who says cribs are just for little Kids!!!!

I had to crawl in with Coop for awhile last night after he freaked out because "Blankie" was on the floor and he couldn't reach it.

I Love these special times, he rarely lets me just sit and cuddle during the day, but he always wraps his little arms around my neck or pats my arm when I climb in for nap time or to help him calm down.

Plus it is kind of cozy in there, as you can see!

p.s. For those of you who know him, Nick shaved off his goatee yesterday!! Sorry there will be no pictures taken for the next couple weeks, Nicks chin is shy!

The Great Pajama Search

Just like most Families my family always gave New PJ's Christmas Eve. So this year I went out and bought Coop soft Dino PJ's, but then I was struck with the memory of the marvelous homemade jammies my Mom used to make us.

So I set forth on the pajama mission.
I purchased the material and went to work!!
Here are the results!!!!

He makes everything look good!!

Note: The shirts don't fit very well, but the little pants are adorable!!

Introspection

Sorry that life has gotten away with us and I havent been heard from in a while.

School started Monday..........which means Monday Morning I kissed my sweet baby and left him in the care of someone else.

We had such a wonderful two weeks together. Cooper is so smart and such a little personality. It was a joy cuddling him in the morning, going on walks, watching movies and building towers together.

I don't regret my choice to be a "working Mom" but sometimes it does make me sad.
I have been extremely lucky not to miss any of his "Firsts" which I know is a great fear among "working Moms", but all the little things are so important too!
Cooper has been quite obliging and taken 3 hours naps every day so I only miss four hours of his waking time, but still.

Yesterday I was talking to a man who I have great respect for, and he said " I am glad my wife chose to stay home with our kids".
Which is the harder choice?

Coop love playing all day with the kids at Daycare, which he doesn't have at home with just me, but he doesn't have me.

This kid has me bewitched heart and soul. I miss him all day, and I try every day to be sure that he and Nick come first, and I hope he knows that.

Christmas and vacation posts next week!
