Starting the School Year.

PEP Club has taken off like a Freight Train this year.
We had 11 pages of students sign up at the "Club Spectacular".
I have an awesome group of seriously, dedicated students.
The night when we were trying to Paint The Bleachers, it rained.  The boys and I went to make sure no students were hanging around waiting, and Jacks ran....
 And ran........
............. 4 times around the track.  A whole mile!  While the football team practiced in the rain.
Every time I asked if we could go sit in the car, he would say "I Just Want To Run".

A Boy after my own heart.  Hopefully he didn't get my knees though.

Pottery Merit Badge

Nick asked if I could do the Pottery Merit badge for his boys so we started tonight.

It was so HOT!! 100+ degrees.
The boys worked really well.  We hand built some mugs, and learned some vocabulary.
We will spend some time on the wheels the next time.
I've done the Pottery Merit Badge before.  But this is more fun because I know the boys.  I've worked with these boys, I've taught them music in primary.  It's good. :)

First Day of First Grade

We decided to send Cooper to a Charter School this year,
and they started 2 days before the District so I got to take Coop to school his first day!!

So Handsome in his uniform.
Given the choice in the morning he will always pick to wear his yellow shirt
(if it is clean)
Walking down the hall to his classroom.  I am glad he still lets me hold his hand!!
Going to pick a book to wait for the day to start,  He wasn't phased at all.  I had a harder time than he did.
 Getting right into Learning.
We are very excited about this educational decision and can't wait to see what the year brings!!

First Grade....Bring It On!!

Lagoon 2013

We started out our Lagoon Day on the Carousel.  Jack in his normal position, "on the couch".
I also wrote my Cell# on his arm.
The "Little Boys" a little unsure.
Jacks discovered the train Museum, and was in LOVE!!
We took a ride on the "Sky Ride". The big boys together.....
And me with the Wee one.
Can you tell I am terrified in this picture....Seriously...TERRIFIED.
Jacks insisted on sitting on my lap. I kept thinking he would fall.
I HATE HEIGHTS!!!
The boys were so cute riding together.  My Mother-in-Law gave them these shirts when we were visiting.  I loved that they matched, it was so much easier to locate them.

I taught Jacks how you are supposed to ride rides, with your hands in the air.  So Cute!!
We stayed all day, Spent a couple hours at Lagoon-a-Beach, and left right before they closed.
We may have pushed it!  Jacks got pretty worn out!!
It was a wonderful day.  Coop got to ride all the roller coasters with Nick.  We loved getting to spend the time with the "H" family too!

Visiting

After we left Nicks Folks, we came to stay at the "H' families' beautiful New Home.
It was so Nice and Cool.  Unlike home!  We have really missed having them right around the corner.
They had a Train Table set up in the basement that was a hit with my boys.  Although not as much of a hit as "Baby Braxton"  Cooper is on a serious baby kick!
We had Yummy Food, Good Conversation, and spent all day Monday at Lagoon!!

Visit to Roosevelt

We went to Roosevelt for our Niece Cami's Baptism, and got lucky enough to be there for the biggest CANDY parade I have ever seen.

We got great seats in the shade.
Coop and Scott won fans by answering Trivia questions.
But Seriously the CANDY, and trinkets, and backpacks, and Popcicles.   This parade was crazy.  one of the floats was literally dumping BOXES of candy onto the street.  There was so much candy, that as we were leaving you would see kids sitting by their parents and the road still covered in it, just being ignored!! NUTS!!

We Started the Week going to Turbo.  Me and 3 Boys!! It was Fun.  "Big Jack" came with us so his mom could get his brothers 2nd birthday party ready.
Cute boys, and they loved the Movie.
The boys party was Cowboy themed, and Hayley always delivers on the Details!
Hobby Horses for all the little boys!
Tuesday we had a Houseful!!  Lots of kids!! I don't know how people have 6 kids!! AHHH!
Some Hang-out time with my not-so-Baby!
Thursday we acquired another Dagadar Ball Track.  the boys had a lot of fun playing.
