This is a list of the top 8 things you should not do as a substitute teacher.
8. Whine about the movie the teacher has scheduled for the students to watch.
7. Discuss your dating life on the same terms as the 14 year olds in the class.
6. Tell the teacher that you don't need to do what they want you to because you "Have a plan".
5. Repeatedly yell "Shut-Up" at the top of your voice.
4. Allow the children to watch "Full-House" on TV.
3. Refer to students as "you with the the fake red hair".
2. Allow the students to play hackeysack outside, because the teacher only said "don't let them play in the classroom".
1. Call the teacher fat.
Please know that if you do not follow this list: yes a teacher can blackball you, and you will never work in this school, or the high school ever again!!! And if the teacher had that much power she would ban you from the entire district.
Substitutes Beware!!!

The Divine Role of Mothers
My Beautiful Son fills the width, breadth and depth of my Soul.
No other job is more important or divine than my role as his mom.
What can be more beautiful or right? I feel truly blessed to be a Mom and truly humbled to have this amazing spirit in my care.
I am tagging everyone who reads this to post how you feel about being a mom with your feelings and favorite things. (or even what you are looking forward to most!! Nikki:))
Here are some of mine
I love coming into Coop's room first thing in the morning. Even if he has been fussing, he gets a huge grin as soon as he sees me. I feel like I am doing something amazing just by picking him up and cuddling him.
I love that he LETS me cuddle him first thing in the morning.
I love that he has totally fallen for the "if mom kisses it, it feels better" thing.
I love his sweet precious baby hugs and that if I tell him I love him, he blows me a kiss.
I love how excited he gets every time he sees a picture of Jesus, Pointing and smiling. He knows our Savior so much better than I do.
I love the way his Bum wiggles when he runs.
I love that he is obsessed with older gentlemen and insists on visiting all of them during Sacrament meeting.
I love his sweet passionate baby Kisses, even if sometimes they can last an uncomfortably long time.

Water Baby
My Little Coop loves to go to the pool!
Unfortunately we are usually on our own, thus limiting the picture taking opportunities.
So a short time ago when Coop was invited to a pool party I reveled in the opportunity to get some mom/coop pool pics!!
Here are some of the pics
I hope you enjoy them!!
Gosh I love this Kid!!!!

Click, Click.
I don't know what was going on, but as soon as this song would play he would put up his hands and just click his tongue! Weird, he did it probably four or five times. Please ignore the cliffhanger on his nose!

A Surprise Visit
So this post is totally late!!
Over Labor Day i received a Surprise visit from my wonderful friend Bonnie!!
It was so nice to see her and meet her beautiful little girl Amy. I am so thankful for good friends and their contributions to who I am today!!
Rainy Day 2 (the videos)
These are the Videos for our Rainy Day Adventure
Did You Hear Him??? He Said RAIN!!
What a smart Boy
I Love watching his little Bum wiggle when he runs!!
At the end of the video he just stood there and listened to the thunder, and watch for the body chill:)(about :22)
Rainy Days
So very rarely does it rain here in the south, so we couldn't pass up the chance to let Coop enjoy it.
What a joy and blessing this little guy is. Seeing the world through his eyes truly shows us what is important.
I believe Heavenly Father sends us his children to teach us. Boy has this kid taught us so much!! I love being his mom!

My Little man
Here are some pics of Coops new "Do". He has enough hair now that we have started doing this little faux-hawk everyday.
I can't beleive how big he is.
Last night he insisted on calling m'pa (grandpa). My dad was a great sport and talked to him for 8 minutes. Cooper told him all his animal sounds and said "Hi" a lot.
I am so proud of how many words and sounds Cooper knows. Word on the street is that boys talk later than girls, well not my boy, he talks oh so much and it is so much fun when he says new words. Just this week it is "Neat". He has also started closing to the last consonant of a word, usually skipping the vowel and staying there for awhile, so cheese is chssssse.
This is a picture of Coop in the giant box that Daddy's Giant TV came in.
