Before and After..Camping style.

Before:  Tiny Tent vs. Big mattress.   

 After: However the men prevailed and the tent lost and has the stretch marks to show it.

 Before: Two very Best Friends!!

After: Still the very Best of Friends!!!

Coop and K are the very closest you can be at 4 and 5 years old.  They play perfectly together and love each other a lot.

 After: Wet and Sad

 Poor Jacks had a hard go of it.  Besides the self inflicted dunking, He also fell off the table bench, got a slight concussion and vomited for an hour.  I am very grateful for my amazing husband who gave Jacks a wonderful blessing.

After:

  Yet another really fun Camping Trip.  The boys were exhausted and Coop had an allergic reaction to some pollenny plant.  But Jacks has suffered no ill effects and a little Benedryl set Coop straight.  We sure love spending time with the S family.  And as an added bonus, "Built in Photographer"  means no crappy self-portrait this time.

Just as a note:  See the red truck Jacks is holding, he takes it with him every where!! Tuesday it was accidentally swapped at the church nursery for a slightly similar red truck.  This mistake was discovered on Thursday night and no kidding he screamed for an hour and a half until I could track down some church keys and walk to the church to pick it up.. silly kid.

Jacks @ 16 months

I have missed a couple months and my little boy is quite the "big man" now. So lets play Catch-up

Jacks:
Still wears size 3 diapers
Wears size 12 month clothes, some 18 month;)

Does not WALK....RUNS and DANCES!!!
Calls me Daddy.
 Signs: More, Eat, Please, Milk
Waves Bye-Bye, Says Hi!!
Love Dogs and calls them "woof woof"
Calls Coop "Bubba"
Likes to go into the bathroom and sit on the potty like "Bubba"

Has the most irritating squeal.
Hates Sacrament Meeting
Is a fairly picky eater
Gets really Frustrated if I pay attention to anyone else.

Coop:
Has completely mastered Potty-Training!!!!!
Is going to Pre-school 2 days a week, and loves it.
He even has a little girlfriend. He told me "Her name is Kate"
Loves to play Super Hero video games.

Is by far the coolest kid ever.

Tawny:
Just finished the annual repainting of the bleachers...With a lot of Help!!

Especially this GUY!!!

 However I probably could have lived forever without ever seeing These!!!

AHHH:)

Nick is super busy, doing scouts, and donating uber amounts of time at work so when all their projects end in December...they can get more!!!

Because we are planners.....

Lately...

We have Been Playing Hard,

Getting Dirty, 

And Missing each other ALL DAY LONG!!

This Semester is going to be crazy, but hopefully it will settle down, and I will settle in SOON.

I hate them.
I think I have everything ready to go, and it falls apart.
Will someone please move here and babysit my kids?!?

Plus I hit my face today and it hurts, but at least the swelling has gone down. :)

A Camping We Will Go...pt 2

A Camping We Will Go...

So because I am so "Jealous" of all Nicks camping without me.  Tonight we are taking our boys and braving the outdoors.

Slash Pad

 On Thursday we participated in our very last Play Group until next summer.  We met at a splash pad and had so much fun.  the temperature was perfect.  the water was lovely, and the company was divine

To Grandmas House we go.

We had a spectacular time with the in-laws.


We went out on Grandpas boat.  An instant favorite of Coops and we did some swimming and tubing.  The water felt great and the air temp was perfect and Nick is the only one that got sunburned!!

 Jack wasn't a huge fan of the water, but he seemed to enjoy the tube.

 Coop kept trying to crawl off of my lap.  He said " I will just plug my nose."  Silly Boy

 Here is Coop Showing off his mad swimming skills.  His swim lessons really improved his confidence in the water. And gave me the vocabulary to talk to him about swimming.

Those 3 small dots are Nick, Coop and I.  Grandpa had to move the boat away from the rocks so we had to swim after him.

 We went to the Vernal Dinosaur Museum.  It was nice, but not very interactive for kids.  Which is why the boys and I were at the end before the rest of the group was even half way.  But it was a really nice day out.

We went to visit nicks Grandpa (Jacks Namesake, Karl).  And that was also really nice. Jacks would not hold still. (obviously)

 We spent some time with cousins, but mostly just Grandpa and Grandma.  My kids live the farthest from them of all their grandchildren, so we always really try to soak up the time we do get.
Oh and have I ever mentioned that Nicks Folks live by a golf course??  Lets just say Jacks was in Heaven.
