Snow Day part 2

So, when you live in a warm climate, snow, ANY snow, puts people on edge.

So the Stake President just cancelled Church.

I don't really blame him, the idea of all those old people drivers in a church parking lot,
would make anyone wary.
I was supposed to sing in church today, so I am a little sad about that though.

I will just have to stay home and hang out with my boys.

Here is a video of us doing donuts in the Church Parking lot last night.

Ward Christmas Party 2013

Tonight was our Ward Christmas Party, so we got to see Santa!!

Coop is such an old pro at it.

And despite letting Jacks sit and watch Santa for like 20 minutes, he still would not have anything to do with him.
So I made him.  He was very mad at me!

Snow Day

Where we live, Snow Days, are few and far between.
So I called my neighbor, and she came over and took some pictures, that I am using for our Christmas card this year.

Her are some of the out takes!

It was so fun and the quickest photo shoot ever.

Hayley did such a good job, and we got some awesome shots.
I am so excited for our 2013 Christmas cards!

Jacks Stuff

Jacks thoughts on The Sacrament: "I growing up because I have a little bread, and a little water."

Jacks favorite part of Wednesday: "Dallin" (his best friend at the babysitters)

Jacks Dance Moves: Involve shaking his head, and spanking his own bum.

There is no Jacks, like my Jacks, Anywhere!!

Mr. Coopers Christmas....Program

Cooper had his cute little Christmas Program tonight.
Their little songs were so cutely choreographed.
This is Coopers new Favorite song.
He taught it to us, and we sing it almost every night

(Cant get the video to load....working on it)

They had to wear black shorts, and they were given a colored "performance shirt". Such a cute Idea!
The little girl on the back row, to the right of Cooper, in Green, is the girl he tells me is the "cutest girl in class".  The other little girl in Green, on the back row, is the niece of one of my dear friends.  So fun to have them in class together.
This was the last song.  I missed the best part when they all started singing, so loud, and clear, it was beautiful, but I caught the end.

It was so cute, yet kind of irritating.  There was a pre-recorded dialogue, for which they must have found the most irritating voices. But I loved watching Cooper preform.

Better and Stronger

I joined a Choir in August.
We are currently preparing for a crazy busy Christmas season.
We are doing two full-length concerts,
and I am singing in 2 nights of Forgotten Carols
with Michael McLean.
 I am so excited!
Every time I leave rehearsal, I feel stronger and more in control of my voice.
Right now it is one thing I can control.
One thing that can get better and stronger.

The knee is headed back out.  It hurts more everyday.  I am headed back to that dark scary place where I'm going to be unable to take care of myself, or my family, soon.

I will keep singing.

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving,
I didn't have School, but Cooper did,
so I got to hang out with Jacks.

This kid is such a trip.  We spent a half an hour jumping off my bed.

He is our little ball of Light and Laughter.

Growing Up

Jacks is so much fun, and growing up so fast!

He likes to help me at the Grocery store.
He will randomly yell out
"See Mom I didn't hit anything"
Its super cute!
It does make grocery shopping take an extra long time though!

He is also getting quite good at his chores.
one of which is setting the table.
My favorite night he put each of the place settings on the corners!
It was so funny.
I guess its a good thing we are a family of four, or we would need a five cornered table. :)

Cabelas... Fall Break 2013

Oh, man my kids were nutso on Saturday Morning.
I thought about squeezing in the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur museum today.
But OH, man, my boys were so out of control at Cabelas ( for 2.5 hours....... )
On the floor....
 Rolling around.......
 Climbing......
 And of course, Cheesy posing
So we did not go to Thanksgiving Point.
I did get to see my Dad for a bit, while he was out shopping.
On the Drive home we passed these feats of engineering.
Seriously, who needs a moving van when you can pile it up to the sky, in the back of your truck
Awesome right?  and totally secure and safe. But at least this one is a full size truck.
Here is another pile on a little truck.  Brilliant!
It was a fast up and back, about 36 hours, but it was a great adventure, and my boys had fun.

Temple Square...Fall Break 2013

After the Zoo we went to check out Temple Square.
It was a little chilly, but still a really nice day,
and an awesome place to spend time together as a family.
 "Baby B"
Family Pic, with the HUGE East doors.
Visiting the Christus Statue
I Love watching these boys together!!
I wish the H family lived closer.
They were very kind and once again opened their beautiful home up for us to stay in.
Super last minute, and everything.

Suddenly without planning...... Fall Break 2013

So I needed to get away, like badly.

So I talked Nickolas into taking us to the Zoo for Fall Break.

We started with the monkeys.
Cooper has entered an awesome phase of posing...badly.
Jacks was Terrified of the Big Gorrilla.

Cooper looks so small in this picture.
The Lion, is Dead, very sad.
It is broken.
Made me sad, because the Lion is a huge part of any Hogle Zoo Memory,
:(
Something new, at least I think its new, was the seals.
The boys loved it....
But Jacks was obsessed and sat FOREVER.
They were very fun to watch, and the underwater view is awesome!!
Jacks next obsession was the "Nine Banded Armadillo".
Thanks to "The Cat in The Hat" on PBS, both my kids were thrilled to see one in person.
And I have to admit his little tiny armadillo hands were so cute!!
