At Grandpas House

This morning when Coop woke up he immediately started looking for Grandpa.
What is this magical force that occurs after a mans children have had children.
I am positive there is a power bestowed...........

Kung fu Panda Face Take 2

Here is yet more evidence of my son's obsession with Kung Fu Panda.
We have never had such a peaceful Sunday. We put the "panda " on in our room and heard not a peep from our wee one for the majority of the day. Although he would come out and tell us to "Fix" if he "Accidentally" turned the movie off!

I was however very thankful for this Obsession Yesterday.
I went home early from school and took Coop home with me, but instead of having to entertain, I turned on Panda. He was so good!!
He came and asked me for juice and lunch, but other than that left me alone. And he took a 3 hour nap!!

We invited our next door neighbors over for cake. They are such a nice little family and so much fun to have next door. They brought me a goodies bag of girly pink things like foot soak, and fingernail polish. It was great

Nick went all out and got me this super cool bike trailer.

It holds two Chilluns and I had the great luck today to utilize the extra space for my friend Maggie's son Ian, who came and had a playdate.

I love being able to go bike riding again!

Sick Day

On Tuesday I took the day off to stay home with this sick little guy.

We watched KUNG FU PANDA for the 100th time.
We ate Quesidillas and we danced to Shrek 2 Idol!

I hate it when he is sick, but it was kinda fun just hangin out.

A Shared Day

For as long as I can remember today has always been "Our Day".

I am one of the lucky few to share a birthday with a beloved relative.
I remember all the Competitions to see who could call who first to sing Happy Birthday.
My beautiful Cousin Erin has been generous through the years in sharing her birthday with me.
Erin is amazing. I wish you could all know her. She is such a wonderful example to me and she always has been.
I could not have picked a better Birthday Buddy!
